Delightful Christmas Caramel Pretzel Bites featuring mini pretzels topped with soft caramel and drizzled with festive red, green, and white candy melts, garnished with holiday sprinkles. A perfect sweet and salty holiday treat.

- 48 mini pretzel twists
- 12 soft caramels, unwrapped and cut in half
Candy Melt Drizzle
- 1 cup red Candy Melts
- 1-2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 1 cup green Candy Melts
- 1 cup white Candy Melts

Instructions
- Preheat and arrange: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange half of the mini pretzel twists on it in a single layer.
- Add caramel and bake: Place a caramel half on top of each pretzel, centered, and bake for 5 minutes or until the caramels are slightly softened.
- Top with pretzels and cool: Remove from the oven and immediately press another pretzel on top of each softened caramel. Leave them on the baking sheet to cool completely.
- Melt red candy melts: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine red Candy Melts with 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each until melted and smooth. Add more shortening by the teaspoon if needed for consistency.
- Drizzle red candy melts: Transfer melted red candy to a piping or plastic bag, clip a small corner, and drizzle over the pretzels to cover them all.
- Repeat with green candy melts: Repeat melting, adding shortening as needed, and drizzling steps using green Candy Melts.
- Repeat with white candy melts and garnish: Repeat melting and drizzling with white Candy Melts, then immediately sprinkle holiday sprinkles on top.
- Set and store: Allow all the candy melts to fully set before storing or serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
- For longer storage, keep pretzel bites refrigerated.
- Adding vegetable shortening helps achieve a smooth, drizzleable candy melt consistency.
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
- Make sure pretzels and caramel are completely cooled before decorating to prevent melting the candy melts.
