- 10 ounces Dots Candy
- 1 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 ¾ cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside to prevent sticking.
- Melt White Chocolate: Place white chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds to avoid overheating, until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Melt Marshmallows and Butter: In a medium mixing bowl, add the mini marshmallows and butter. Microwave on high for 2 minutes or until marshmallows have risen to the top. Remove and stir until butter is fully melted and marshmallows form a smooth mixture.
- Combine Chocolate and Marshmallow Mixture: Quickly add the melted white chocolate to the marshmallow mixture and stir thoroughly but swiftly to combine.
- Add Gumdrops: Stir in all but ⅓ cup of Dots Candy, evenly distributing the gumdrops throughout the nougat mixture.
- Pour into Pan: Immediately pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Spray your hands with cooking spray and spread the mixture evenly.
- Decorate and Set: Press the remaining ⅓ cup of Dots candy onto the top, filling any gaps and adding colorful decoration. Allow the nougat to cool and set at room temperature for approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes until firm.
