- ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

- 3 tablespoons non-dairy milk (plain, unsweetened)
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Oil spray
- Chipotle Mayo (for serving)
Instructions
- Cut avocado: Cut the avocado in half, remove the peel and pit, then slice into ¼-inch thick slices.
- Prep coatings: In a small shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour non-dairy milk into a second bowl. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat avocado: Dip each avocado slice first into the flour mixture, then the non-dairy milk, and finally coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs on both sides. Arrange coated slices in the air fryer basket.
- Spray and bake: Lightly spray the coated avocado slices with oil. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt and pepper while hot. Serve immediately with chipotle mayo for dipping.
Notes
- Tip for coating: Keep one hand dry and the other wet for easier dredging when coating avocado slices.
- Oven method: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange fries on parchment-lined sheet, spray with oil, bake 10 minutes, flip, spray again, then bake another 10 minutes until crispy.
