- 2 shots espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

- 1/4 cup whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, add the milk, espresso, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and sugar together.
- Heat Mixture: Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally to blend the flavors.
- Simmer Gently: Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and continue stirring regularly for 2 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
- Remove from Heat: After 2 minutes on low heat, take the saucepan off the stove.
- Serve: Pour the gingerbread latte evenly into two cups and optionally top with whipped cream for an extra festive touch.
Notes
- If you don’t have an espresso machine or coffee maker, use 2 teaspoons of instant or decaf coffee mixed with 1/4 cup boiling water. In this case, reduce the milk amount to 1 3/4 cups.
- For an iced version of this latte, pour the finished drink over ice before serving.
- You can use any type of sugar according to your preference, including white, brown, or coconut sugar.
