Description

This Oreo Fudge recipe features a rich and creamy white chocolate base mixed with chopped Oreos for a delightful texture and flavor. Easy to prepare with just a few ingredients and no baking required, it's the perfect sweet treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
  • 2 ¾ cups (468 g) white chocolate chips
  • 10 Oreos, chopped, plus additional Oreos broken for topping
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends up the sides for easy removal later. Set aside.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a microwave-safe glass bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Stir gently until mixed.
  3. Microwave and Stir: Microwave the mixture on full power for 1 minute. Remove and stir until the white chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Be careful not to overheat to avoid scorching.
  4. Add Flavorings: Stir in chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour and Spread: Transfer the fudge mixture to the prepared pan. Spread evenly using a spatula, then press additional broken Oreos on top for extra texture and decoration.
  6. Set the Fudge: Let the fudge set at room temperature for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, loosely covered with foil.
  7. Serve and Store: Once set, lift the fudge out using the foil, cut into 25 squares, and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1-2 weeks.

Notes

  • Do not overheat the mixture in the microwave as it can cause the white chocolate to scorch, resulting in crumbly fudge.
  • Using aluminum foil with overhanging edges helps easily lift the fudge from the pan.
  • The fudge sets best if allowed to chill overnight but 4 hours is sufficient.
  • This recipe yields about 25 pieces, making it perfect for sharing or gifting.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain its texture and flavor.
  • You can substitute white chocolate chips with white chocolate bars chopped if preferred.
