Description

A fun and creative twist on traditional lasagna using ramen noodles layered with rich tomato sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses, baked to bubbly perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 4 packets ramen noodles, discard flavor packet
  • 4 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8-inch casserole dish with baking spray and place it on a baking tray for easier handling.
  2. Prepare Ramen Noodles: Break each square of ramen noodles in half through the middle to create smaller pieces suitable for layering.
  3. Layer the Lasagna: Place one layer of ramen noodles on the bottom of the casserole dish. Spread 2 cups of tomato sauce over the noodles, then sprinkle 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese followed by 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  4. Repeat Layers: Add a second layer of broken ramen noodles on top of the first. Spread the remaining 2 cups of tomato sauce evenly, then top with the remaining 1 cup of parmesan cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake the assembled dish for 30 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is fully melted and golden.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and serve immediately while hot. Enjoy your comforting ramen lasagna.

Notes

  • Use fresh or good-quality tomato sauce for best flavor.
  • Feel free to add cooked vegetables or cooked ground meat between layers for a heartier dish.
  • Allow the lasagna to rest for about 5 minutes after baking for easier slicing.
  • You can substitute mozzarella with a blend of Italian cheeses if desired.
  • Be careful not to overcook the noodles before baking as they will soften further in the oven.
