Instructions
- Prepare Baking Tray: Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside to keep the Oreo balls from sticking after dipping.
- Crush Oreos: Place the 45 Oreo cookies in a food processor or high-speed blender and pulse until finely ground into crumbs.
- Mix Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese on high speed with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Combine Mixture: Add the Oreo crumbs to the cream cheese and mix on medium speed until well incorporated into a uniform dough.
- Form Balls and Chill: Use a medium cookie scoop to portion the mixture, then roll into smooth balls by hand. Arrange them on the prepared tray and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours to firm up.
- Make Snowman Hats: Melt about ¼ cup of white chocolate wafers in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted. Split the 12 mini Oreos in half and scrape off the cream. Dab melted chocolate onto an Oreo half with a skewer, place a Rolo upside down on top, decorate with holly sprinkles, then let set until hardened.
- Melt Remaining Chocolate: Melt the rest of the white chocolate wafers in the microwave, heating at 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth and fully melted.
- Dip Oreo Balls: Using a fork, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate. Tap the fork gently on the bowl edge to even out the coating. Place the coated ball back on the tray.
- Decorate Faces: Quickly add the snowman sprinkle mix to form faces: two black sugar pearls for eyes, a carrot sprinkle for the nose, plus black pearls for the smile. Work swiftly before the coating sets.
- Add Hats: Place the prepared chocolate-dipped mini Oreo hats on top of each snowman ball’s head. If chocolate has hardened, use a bit of melted chocolate as glue and hold steady for a few seconds to secure.
- Set and Serve: Let all the decorated snowman balls set completely for about 15 minutes. Store refrigerated until ready to enjoy.

- Any flavored Oreos can be used as a fun variation for this recipe.
- If Wilton’s Snowman Decorating Sprinkles are unavailable, black sugar pearls or black icing gel can substitute for eyes and smiles; orange sprinkles or orange Tic Tacs make a good nose alternative.
- Store leftover snowman Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
