Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
- ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese
Butter Mixture
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
- Slice rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish in an even layer.
- Layer turkey and cheese: Arrange the thin-sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, then layer the Swiss cheese evenly on top of the turkey.
- Add top halves: Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls onto the cheese, covering the sandwiches completely.
- Make butter mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop in a saucepan. Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until thoroughly combined.
- Brush butter mixture: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, ensuring an even coating. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to absorb some of the butter mixture.
- Bake sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are slightly toasted.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Adjust servings by offering 1-2 sliders per person for an appetizer or 3 sliders per person for a main meal.
- Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For longer storage, freeze in airtight containers or freezer bags for up to 3 months.
- If you don’t have Hawaiian rolls, soft dinner rolls can be used as a substitute.
- Everything bagel seasoning can be substituted with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder blended in equal parts.
