Description

These Turkey Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or meal featuring thinly sliced deli turkey and Swiss cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls, brushed with a flavorful buttery mixture infused with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning, then baked to melty perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Mixture

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Slice rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish in an even layer.
  3. Layer turkey and cheese: Arrange the thin-sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, then layer the Swiss cheese evenly on top of the turkey.
  4. Add top halves: Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls onto the cheese, covering the sandwiches completely.
  5. Make butter mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop in a saucepan. Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until thoroughly combined.
  6. Brush butter mixture: Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, ensuring an even coating. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to absorb some of the butter mixture.
  7. Bake sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are slightly toasted.
  8. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Adjust servings by offering 1-2 sliders per person for an appetizer or 3 sliders per person for a main meal.
  • Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For longer storage, freeze in airtight containers or freezer bags for up to 3 months.
  • If you don’t have Hawaiian rolls, soft dinner rolls can be used as a substitute.
  • Everything bagel seasoning can be substituted with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder blended in equal parts.
